What is RC&D
RC&D is short for Resource Conservation and Development.
RC&D is a unique program that helps people care for and protect their natural resources in a way that will improve the community’s economy, environment and quality of life. It provides a way for people to work together to plan and carry out activities that will make their community a better place in which to live.
The Color Country RC&D Council was incorporated as a nonprofit Utah corporation in January 1992 with 501 (c) (3) status from the IRS. This provides the council the opportunity to stretch its limited funds with numerous grants and contributions. This benefit, along with the ability to pool resources of agencies for common benefits, makes the RC&D program extremely attractive to its many partners.
